Seller – Cakes by Anusha
Buyer and/or You – person who purchases the goods. Defined in the invoice
These terms and conditions apply to all items purchased from Cakes by Anusha and are legally binding. These maybe amended or updated from time to time, and will be posted on the website. Please read these Terms and Conditions frequently to confirm that you are happy with the information and content.
A non-refundable and non-transferrable booking deposit (as indicated) is required. The deposit covers time spent on design, administration functions, research, purchase, consultation, and cake tasting.
Payments and Refunds
*** COVID-19 ***
We are able to accommodate your order at short term of notice. If there are any cancellations on your wedding due to COVID-19 ,We also can move the date according to the changes without any charges.
Payments where appropriate are refundable when you provide at least six months notice in writing. All invoices, including any outstanding balances must be paid in full one month in advance of the delivery (or collection) date.
In any unforeseen circumstances, if you need to cancel your order, please do so at your very earliest convenience. Refunds (less Booking Deposit) will be returned to you, as long as at least 6 months notice is given.
For our other products
Custom made celebration cakes, we require full payment and minimum one months notice to place an order. If customer request cancellation two weeks before, we refund full amount, otherwise 50% of your order amount only.
Standard cakes, Cupcakes , Decorated Cookies we require full payment when you place the order. For cancellation we request minimum one week notice.
When the buyer collects, it is the buyers responsibility once items are inspected and collected. The buyer should take extreme care when transporting. The seller bears no responsibility for items collected.
When the seller delivers, the buyer should inspect the delivered items for damages, and should sign the delivery note, confirming the condition of the items.
If there are any minor damages, the seller and the buyer will arrive at an amicable settlement.
Due to the nature of the items, there maybe variations in colour, shades, etc from the reference pictures provided by the buyer.
If there are any misrepresentation, or discrepancies the seller should email the buyer, with a detailed explanation together with images of the items.
Cake stands can be hired for £20.00. A deposit of £50.00 is mandatory to cover for any damages. This can be arranged and paid for during consultation.
The buyer is responsible for the return of the stand.
The buyer will be given detailed information on decorations, such as ribbons, dowels, wires, etc, during consultation and collection of the items.
Buyers must remove non-edible decorations prior to serving. This is the buyers responsibility.
Designs. Pictures, and sketches made by the seller is copyright material. The buyer is not permitted to replicate the same material with another supplier.
We collect the following information from yourself:
Name, Contact information, Event information.
This will only be used for our record keeping purposes, to contact you on our services, for review submission.
We will also use your cake pictures for advertising.
We will ask for your explicit permission to include your event in our social media platform. However we will share images of your cakes.
